When set to “READY” mode, the Cookie Guardian uses input from an SFH 309 Phototransistor to sense when the lid of the cookie jar is lifted off and someone is attempting to steal a cookie. If light is detected, Cookie Guardian sounds the alarm using a Piezo Speaker and activates its single 8mm WS2811 RGB LED to put off an “Intimidating Glare” to scare off the would-be cookie thieves. Cookie Guardian also sends you an email alert that someone is trying to steal the cookies. If you have a hankering for something sweet, you can use the online command portal to set Cookie Guardian to “OFFDUTY” so the alarm doesn’t sound when you open the jar.
