This contraption monitors the status of the garage, and allows the user to open and close the door remotely. The device senses if the garage door is open or closed, the current temperature of the garage, and how long the garage door was left open for last time it was open, and displays these on the website. The device also monitors the light outside the garage. After the sun sets and it's dark out, if the garage door is left open, the user will be notified every 5 minutes that they forgot the door open. If the garage's temperature increases/decreases above/below a predetermined temperature, the user will be notified that the garage is too hot/cold.
